Abigail Gbafa

Abigail Gbafa is a lively, vibrant young lady coming all the way from Las Vegas, Nevada! She is 20 years old and is currently in her third year at the University of Nevada, studying Kinesiology.

Abigail enjoys spending time outdoors doing things such as hiking and running. She also enjoys spending time with her family, and friends. One of Abigail’s favorite passages from the Bible is Romans 8:37-39 which says:

“But in all these troubles we have complete victory through God, who has shown his love for us. Yes, I am sure that nothing can separate us from God’s love—not death, life, angels, or ruling spirits. I am sure that nothing now, nothing in the future, no powers, nothing above us or nothing below us—nothing in the whole created world—will ever be able to separate us from the love God has shown us in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

This is one of her favorite verses because it talks about how absolutely nothing can take her away from God’s love. Abigail finds this to be amazing because it shows just how powerful our God is; a truth she cannot WAIT to share with campers, this summer!

Lauren Lemunyon

Lauren is 21 years old, and has lived in Ohio for the majority of her life. She is the youngest in her family with two brothers, so she’s used to roughing it with the boys.

Lauren is currently pursuing a nursing degree at Ohio university, with the hopes of specializing in Pediatrics or Labor and Delivery. Lauren enjoys most outdoor activities, especially ones she can bring her crazy dog on!

Lauren first joined the Shekinah family as an Overnight camper years ago, and then decided to dedicate a few summers working as a Ranch Hand/Discipleship membe. Lauren is so excited to now step into the Cabin Leader role at Shekinah ranch. She can’t wait to see what God has in store for her and all the campers, this year!

Melissa Behanna

Melissa is happy to be returning to Shekinah Ranch, this time as a Staff Member! As a child, Melissa attended Shekinah in "camper-mode" for multiple years.

Melissa is a proud recent graduate of California Univeristy, and is looking forward to pursuing a career as an Art Teacher, wherever the Lord may lead her.

Outside of camp, Melissa enjoys the great outdoors, playing music and participating in worship, hanging out with her best cat friend (Dobby) and spending time with friends and family.

Melissa cannot wait to see how Jesus moves at camp, and is looking forward to meeting all the young ladies she will get to minister with, this summer!
